Given 2012-12-07
Removing a conventional scene from regular perspective is at the core of abstract art, and Strange Legs in the box by ~Vis-Felavis is an engaging example of this concept. ( Suggested by insolitus85 and Featured by arctoa )

That's very intriguing with the shadow cut off.
It took me some time to figure out that the strange behaviour of the shadow makes sense if you turn the photo upside down :)
In the perspective shown here, the owner of the shadow is standing below the bottom oft the photo and the shadow looks sort of cut off due to a step in the path. Even though I know how it works now, the photo is still a bit confusing. And I like that, really great piece of art :sun:
